Weekend Update

My dad and grandmother were in town for the weekend. It was *way* too hot but we had fun anyway. Yummy dinner at Legal Seafood on Friday, checking out the National Museum of the American Indian on Saturday(NMAI... for some reason I really like that acronym. The museum was cool too. :) ), and visiting cousins in western Loudoun County on Sunday. Actually, it may not be western Loudoun for long. My cousin is part of the campaign to secede from the county (http://www.catoctincounty.org/). Pretty cool. It's absolutely gorgeous out there. The last time I visited (10 years ago?) you couldn't even see another house from their property. Now you can see the roofs of a couple of houses. :(

My dad also brought down a bunch of stuff that I had left in NY. Mostly clothes (finding a place for them was no small task), but also a box of random stuff like my Lego letters from Jen, my Garden State soundtrack, and my Blue's Clues chair from Steph. :) I missed my stuff. :)

I also got really excited on Sunday because I saw that gas had gone *down* $0.01 at the Citgo where I filled up last week. That is the first time I've seen gas go down all summer. Very exciting. But it's still kinda sad that I got excited about $2.62/gal.

My HD cable will be set up tomorrow night. I'm very excited. Now I *really* need a couch. I'll regale you with stories about the beauty of the picture tomorrow or Wednesday. :)
